This type of packaging is a universal form of product exposure. They may be placed in cylinders and boxes or individually to create positioned forms, for example on shelves.

Pressings or inserts placed in the package protect the product from movement, position it and allow for better presentation. They are also often used to separate products from themselves; such as products which are stacked or placed next to each other in the package. This is important with sensitive items which can be damaged or destroyed easily.

They are perfect for products such as chocolate confectionery (pralines, figures), glass balls, glassware, candles, make-up, cosmetics and care products (lotions, creams, toothpaste).
